This policy describes how AllergyCheck (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our websites, mobile apps, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Account & restaurant data. When restaurant staff create an account, we collect identifiers such as email address, authentication data, restaurant name, menu and allergen information you enter, and operational settings you configure.
Guest / diner usage. When diners use a restaurant code or link, we may process device or session identifiers, dietary preferences or restrictions you choose to share, and usage data needed to show menus and safety summaries.
Payments. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data according to its own privacy policy.
Technical data. We may collect logs, diagnostics, IP address, and similar data to secure the Services, fix bugs, and understand aggregate usage.
We use the information above to provide and improve the Services, authenticate users, personalize guest views, process subscriptions, comply with law, and communicate with you about the Services.
We share data with service providers who help us run the Services (for example, hosting, database, auth, email, and payment processors), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Restaurant-provided allergen and menu information may be shown to that restaurant’s guests through the Services.
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Restaurant owners can manage account data in the app where available. You may contact us via our support page, the support channel listed in the app, or on your contract.
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction).
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated “Last updated” date.
